Are you one of those who doesn’t go a day without a cup of coffee? By following a few tips, you can make it even better – without spending so much.
1 – Read the label
Get the scorpion out of your pocket: Low-acid coffee, 100% arabica (a type of bean), is the best choice, despite the price. Give preference to packages with a recent date of manufacture.
2 – It can come hot…
Opt for filtered or mineral water, and don’t be afraid to boil it. To get the best out of the dust, the water should be between 92 ° C and 96 ° C. No thermometer? Heat until it bubbles, turns off the heat and wait 30 seconds.
3 – Proportion of coffee and water
Coffee from Brazil is stronger than from Europe or the USA. If you want to try a weaker coffee, simply change the proportions or opt for a lighter powder that has been less roasted.
4 – Abor to the extent
To sweeten, refined sugar is the least interfering. Do not use cloth filters – they accumulate impurities. Want strong coffee? Use the smallest cup possible. It makes a difference: the bigger ones let out the taste and the temperature.
5 – Test other ways
Try different coffee makers (colander, electric, Italian, French, etc.) until you find the right flavor for you. Having a homemade coffee grinder is an exotic requirement, but it helps.
